The Grandrestaurant at Grandhotel Pupp is ideal for a romantic dinner, dining in beautiful rooms with a historic atmosphere. The menu focuses on Czech cuisine and is prepared by Chef Ondřej Koráb. For starters, we recommend beef carpaccio with intense asparagus emulsion and sweet onion marmalade, and for the main course, sirloin with Carlsbad dumplings and homemade cranberry compote. The smoked bacon in sauce gives the dish an innovative taste that will delight you. For dessert, we recommend the Pupp cake, which is a traditional specialty from the 18th century. A light sponge with coconut, almond flour and orange zest, accompanied by apricot jam and dark chocolate icing, creates a harmony of flavors that is enhanced by vanilla whipped cream with apricot caviar. The wine list offers a wide selection of wines from all over the world, and the staff is well trained and has an exceptional rapport with guests. A little more care in the final seasoning would enhance the unique experience combining traditional Czech cuisine with an innovative approach. The Grandrestaurant is one of the two restaurants in the hotel, but this one is open in the evening only.
