La Gare

La Gare is a “little France” in the center of Prague with truly authentic, high-quality French cuisine, a perfect selection of wines, and a nice, cozy atmosphere with an open grill at the front. The wine list is one of the restaurant’s pride and joys, as is the well-thought-out menu, which changes with the seasons. The dishes are original and beautifully presented. We recommend the flavorful aged beef tartare, which is complemented by a warm homemade brioche with butter. The grilled calamari stood out with its harmony of flavors and left us wanting more. The café gourmand dessert is a great sweet ending. The staff is nice and friendly, but the service is slightly lacking. We definitely recommend La Gare to all gourmets; it will certainly not disappoint them.
