MOLO Restaurant

From a distance, the MOLO Restaurant does not reveal the wonders that await you inside. From the outside, it is a simple building that hides all the triumph cards that gastronomy can offer. The sophisticated interior is matched by the menu. The three- or six-course tasting menu showcases the cooks’ creativity and their understanding of the local natural conditions. The oft-mentioned local cream soup confirms this, with mushrooms taking center stage alongside fabulous potatoes, eggs calming the finale, and dill playfully provoking. The next course – Duroc pork tenderloin – had an unusual flavor. All the ingredients used had their place, they did not clash with each other, and the tenderloin, which is not easy to prepare, performed a beautiful solo of velvety tenderness. Add to that the unusual design concept, the warm atmosphere in contrast to the Šumava nature outside the windows, the friendly and attentive service, and the unique cuisine, and you have an experience that is difficult to find elsewhere with such intensity. Although from the outside Molo may look like a simple fisherman’s shelter above the waves of the lake, it offers an astonishing package of hospitality services in an optimal form, which would be further enhanced by finding a “great” red wine from our winemakers.
