The family-run guesthouse Na Farmě was established by its owners, who also own a farm in the immediate vicinity. The farm is also the main source of meat. Everything comes from their own livestock, which is admirable, especially the home-grown beef and veal from Žehuň and pork from nearby Choťovice. The focus of the cuisine is therefore clear – meat and grilled steaks from local sources. The meat is complemented by seasonal offerings, and every weekend you can try a different menu – sometimes fish, sometimes dumplings and Czech cuisine. The cooks have a particular fondness for homemade ice cream, and you can order a scoop or even a whole cup with homemade whipped cream for a few crowns. Be careful with the portions, they are large! We recommend the broth with fluffy, tender liver dumplings and homemade noodles, the delicious and juicy veal burger with homemade bacon, or the tender beef steak made from real sirloin with crispy croquettes. The restaurant’s interior is simple, austere, and spacious. The grounds offer many activities for children, including a mini zoo, tractor rides, and trampolines.
