The restaurant U Tlustých is located in the center of Lednice, not far from the castle. The interior is very pleasant, with a wine bar in the middle of the restaurant where you can choose wines from local small wineries. At the back of the restaurant, there is a glass-walled cheese factory. You can also buy cheese, homemade smoked meats, and other homemade products and delicacies in the adjacent shop. The menu focuses on classic Czech and Moravian dishes and steaks from matured meat. The dishes are well-balanced and well-seasoned. We recommend the potato flatbreads with poppy seeds, plum jam, and sugar. At this restaurant, you can also visit various themed events throughout the year, such as pig slaughtering, game feasts, or St. Martin’s goose. Cash is required for payment; the restaurant does not accept credit cards.
