The restaurant Zlatá Praha, whose history dates back to 1974, is located on the ninth floor of the Fairmont Golden Prague hotel, offering views of the historic center of the capital. The restaurant combines an exclusive interior, a modern atmosphere, and an experiential dining experience. Chef Maroš Jambor and his team serve two types of tasting menus, or you can choose from the à la carte menu and put together a menu according to your taste. The menu changes according to the season, using high-quality local ingredients, which are transformed in the kitchen into dishes full of elegance and flavor. Before the menu itself, you will receive a greeting in the form of an amuse bouche, which which would have been even better when served with oshibori, followed by a sorbet between courses and, finally, traditional petit fours, with a taste of Becherovka liqueur, for example. Our culinary journey began with rabbit parfait with truffles, beets, and red wine, a dish that offered a wonderfully thoughtful mix of flavors. The next course – rabbit roulade with spinach leaves – was very good, and the rabbit bacon, carrot purée, and chanterelles were also interesting. This elegant dish was well seasoned and full of flavor. A pleasant treat at the end was the poppy seed mousse, just sweet enough, complemented by sour cherries and sour cherry ice cream, garnished with chocolate. You can also take advantage of the offer of sommelier Vít Eliáš and choose from a wide range of wines from around the world, or opt for wine pairing. On your way out, you will receive a sweet treat in the form of chocolate made from high-quality Colombian cocoa beans, produced in collaboration between Maroš Jambor and a Czech chocolate factory.
