Atelier cocktail bar & bistro

The Atelier Bar & Bistro is located in the center of Brno. It is situated in a beautiful glass-enclosed courtyard, where the outdoor seating is truly exceptional during the warmer months. Inside, there is a pleasantly designed space with an open kitchen directly adjacent to the bar. The name “bar & bistro” is no coincidence, as it perfectly sums up the entire concept. The staff is friendly and very professional. The menu is pleasantly short, which we appreciate in similar concepts. The excellent celery tartlet with bryndza cheese and smoked nuts offered delicate, balanced flavors and ingredients that melted in the mouth. The gently baked salmon trout with saffron barley risotto, lightened with a yogurt beurre blanc, impressed with its balance of flavors and textures. The meal was rounded off with an excellent dessert of white nougat with yogurt and orange foam, date purée, and a sesame crisp. From the very first bite, it is clear that the Chef loves his work, and this is evident in every step he takes. All the dishes were prepared with precision and passion. Better cooking facilities and equipment would certainly take the cuisine here a step further.
