A major gastronomic event returns in 2026. The exceptional Bidfood Expo 2026 will take place from 13–15 October across almost 10,000 m² of exhibition area in PVA Letňany Praha, showcasing the latest food products as well as state-of-the-art culinary technologies. This year’s featured chef will be renowned chef Jan Punčochář.
Bidfood is hosting the 16th edition of its unique Bidfood Expo. The event is one of the most important gastronomic gatherings in the Czech Republic and is aimed at chefs, operators of all types of restaurants and catering establishments, as well as retail professionals. Visitors will discover the latest industry trends, cutting-edge technologies and tools, along with practical tips for running their businesses more efficiently.
Visitors to Bidfood Expo will have a unique opportunity to meet not only Bidfood representatives – the people who select, develop and bring products to market – but also more than 150 other producers and suppliers from around the world.
They will also be able to draw inspiration and share expertise with leading Czech and international chefs and pastry chefs. The face and main star of this year’s Bidfood Expo will be Jan Punčochář, chef-patron of U Matěje, Stůl and Šnycl restaurants and a judge on televised cooking competitions.

The programme will once again feature prestigious competitions organised in cooperation with the Czech Association of Chefs and Pastry Chefs – Chef of the Year, Pastry Chef of the Year, the Gastronomy Bidfood Cup and Best School Canteen of the Year. Both national teams – the junior and senior teams – will also be presented at the event.
Bidfood Expo 2026 will take place from 13–15 October 2026 at PVA Expo Prague in Letňany.
