Augustine Restaurant

The Augustine Restaurant in Prague’s Lesser Town is a true oasis of calm and excellent cuisine. It is located in the heart of the historic premises of a former Augustinian monastery, which enchants every visitor with its beauty and atmosphere. The interior has been carefully preserved and offers the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful meal, while in the summer months there is also an outdoor garden, which adds another dimension of comfort to your visit. Under the leadership of Chef Jakub Kubec, the restaurant offers original and creative cuisine of international standard. The cuisine here combines traditional culinary values with modern elements. The beef tartare appetizer was very well prepared with smoked egg yolk cream, pickled shallots, and horseradish crumbs. The duck breast with sweet potato purée, pickled clementines, and wine sauce with sour cherries was tasty, although a little complex. The apricot and pistachio mille feuille was very interesting and tasted great. For all lovers of quality food and history, Augustine is the ideal place, where exceptional taste, esthetics, and historical atmosphere are perfectly balanced. A visit to this restaurant leaves a lasting impression and is recommended to anyone looking not only for excellent food, but also for a unique experience in an environment steeped in history and tranquility.
