Beneath Mikulov Castle, we discovered a harmonious blend of history and modernity in two unique buildings. The Boutique Hotel Templ offers individually designed rooms named after the flora and fauna of the Pálava region. A former 16th-century synagogue now serves as a breakfast lounge with the unique atmosphere of the Jewish quarter. We especially appreciate Marcel Ihnačák’s restaurant, where the menu imaginatively combines world cuisine with seasonal ingredients and Mikulov tradition. The wine cellar with its original foundations offers guided tastings of South Moravian wines. The counter-current pool in the garden provides refreshment after a day spent exploring the picturesque Pálava. Its strategic location in the center allows easy access to the castle, Svatý kopeček, and the Pálava vineyards.
