Chateau Mcely - Piano Nobile

The Piano Nobile restaurant is located in the romantic setting of Chateau Mcely, where you can ring the bell and drive right up. The elegant interior with its chateau charm, sophisticated atmosphere, and park create a unique backdrop where guests are welcomed with natural warmth and professionalism. The kitchen offers a balanced menu where modern techniques are combined with classic flavors, and each dish has its own distinctive character. Our tasting journey began with a slightly spicy appetizer – octopus with roasted chickpeas and eggplant purée, complemented by a crispy onion dressing – which was perfectly balanced and playful. The strong beef tail broth with chili and ginger delighted with its depth of flavor and modern concept with a slight Asian touch. Of the main courses, we must mention their signature dish – cod prepared according to the recipe of Grandma Cusumano (the mother of the current owner) – served with grenaille potatoes, which was perfectly cooked and delighted all the senses. The second course – beef tenderloin with Kenyan beans – impressed with its distinctiveness and delicacy at the same time. Plums in rum syrup with poppy seed crumble beautifully rounded off the entire visit.
