Dvůr Hoffmeister

Dvůr Hoffmeister in Číčovice, just a few kilometers from Prague, combines tradition with modern gastronomy. The restaurant is located in a sensitively restored First Republic building surrounded by peaceful countryside. The interior is decorated with the works of the famous Czech painter and caricaturist Adolf Hoffmeister, which gives the place a unique atmosphere. In summer, you can enjoy your meal on the covered terrace overlooking the courtyard and stables. The menu is inspired by Czech and French cuisines. We recommend the very strong and concentrated beef broth with morels and vegetables, as well as the pork tongue with crispy almond croquettes and sage sauce, which goes perfectly with the slightly sour turnip cabbage. The most striking experience is the piglet chop with ricotta gnocchi and morel sauce. With their delicate ricotta flavor and pleasantly sour taste, the gnocchi perfectly lighten the meat and the strong sauce. The textures of some of the dishes are a small flaw of this restaurant. The wine list, focused on France, offers a great selection and the opportunity to sample many wines by the glass.
