Dvůr Hoffmeister

Dvůr Hoffmeister, a sensitively renovated First Republic building located just a short distance from Prague, offers a family atmosphere and an artistic environment. The history of the courtyard dates back to the great-grandfather and its founder, Adolf Hoffmeister, a well-known Czech writer, painter, and cartoonist. His drawings can be found not only on the walls of the restaurant, but also directly on the plates on which the carefully prepared Czech and French dishes are served in a lightened, modern style. We recommend the guineafowl soup with vegetables, croquette, quail egg, and saffron aioli. The rabbit leg with chorizo, vegetable terrine, spinach, and delicate tarragon sauce was also excellent. The wine cellar, with its impressive wine list focusing on France and the option of opening almost any wine on the list by the glass, is a dream come true for all wine lovers. The atmosphere is peaceful and informal. You can hear horses neighing from the adjacent stables and smell the scent of hay. In short, it is the idyll of the French countryside.
