Hatsu Restaurant

The Asian fusion restaurant Hatsu is located on Mečová Street in Brno. It may struggle with difficult accessibility and lack of parking spaces, but its cuisine certainly makes up for it. As you enter, you will be impressed by oriental elements, booths with cushioned benches, and comfortable leather chairs, all in a nice intimate atmosphere. The staff is calm, smiling and very friendly. The menu of Chef Hoang Vu Van meets high expectations and brings to Brno creative taste experiences full of interesting combinations and surprises. We recommend the suimono, a Japanese fish soup with seafood, the tastefully harmonious starter tai carpaccio of royal sea bream or the delicious duck breast marinated in miso paste. The dracarys salmon roll – marinated eel with seared aburi salmon, spicy mayo and tobikko – stands out from the fusion section. The exceptional cuisine is accompanied by unaccomplished details in the drink and wine lists; yet, Hatsu deserves repeat visits which offer a dining experience.
