The beautiful and elegant ground floor of the Mace restaurant is perfect for romantic visits, festive events, or just lunch. The Chef is a native of Tábor, a culinary legend, and a member of the National Team of Chefs and Confectioners. The menu reflects his playful, friendly personality and professional pride. The names of the dishes accurately describe their contents. Enthusiastic lovers of offal will find excellent tripe stew and delicious duck hearts on the menu, complemented by rib broth, zander with lobster sauce and marinated fennel, or chocolate dessert. The entire kitchen team works efficiently and the service flows as it should. The staff is friendly and professional, knows the menu and wine list, but is sometimes too familiar and noisy. On the other hand, the gastronomy countervails everything here and the kitchen team deserves a praise because they also think of vegetarians. They can enjoy the legendary chanterelle cream or risotto with cheese croquette and marinated radishes. The menu changes seasonally, so it tempts you to visit more often.
