The restaurant Lihovar in Čapí hnízdo offers a stylish space combining stone and wood, history and modernity. The kitchen is ruled by a Chef bursting with creativity. At the beginning of hunting season, for example, he prepares delicacies such as venison steak in a herb crust or the now unknown quail stuffed with foie gras, which ranks high on the gourmet scale. With a well-matched wine, one of the tempting desserts, such as the beautifully presented caramel ball with banana, and coffee at the end, you will feel like you are in a castle. But they do not have just “wild” meat; you can also treat yourself to roasted duck leg, red apple cabbage, and onion dumplings. Or, if you prefer, pickled river trout with sweet and sour vegetables, all enlivened by spicy Japanese mayonnaise and dill cream on top. Or just have the excellent duck soup, you will love it here. The tables between the stone columns are often fully occupied, so do not hesitate to make a reservation.
