In a sensitively renovated historic 18th-century town house, which once served as home to an Austrian butcher family, we discovered a family winery that has combined tradition with modernity. The young winery has built on more than 50 years of family tradition and created a unique complex in the center of Mikulov, with an excellent restaurant Vinařství Radosti. We appreciate the location for its tranquility and accessibility – just a few steps from the square and the castle, yet in a quiet courtyard with views of the Holly Hill. Guests are just a few minutes’ walk from the town’s main attractions. The architectural combination of history and modern functionality is surprising at first glance – the unobtrusive appearance of the building conceals bright spaces with carefully designed details.
