The Apelace21 restaurant offers not only excellent cuisine, but also a pleasant, almost intimate atmosphere, which is rather rare in the center of Prague. This makes you enjoy every fine dining course even more. The emphasis is put on the tasting menu, but there is also the option of choosing from the à la carte menu. The beef tartare with truffle mayonnaise, potato terrine, smoked beef heart, and pickled cucumber was beautifully balanced in flavor and imaginatively served. The main course – sea bass with kale, yuzu, caviar, currants, and leek velouté – was excellently prepared, light, and flavorful. The Pavlova dessert with fresh fruit was a great finishing touch – refreshing, playful, and beautifully balanced. The dishes were clearly prepared with great care, every detail had its place, and the presentation was really well thought out, with the timing of the service almost perfect. We were also impressed by the selection of wines and champagne, which complemented the dishes perfectly. Overall, it was a very pleasant gastronomic experience, clearly prepared with great care by the Chef.
